About Velisco in Rot am See

The location in Rot am See was founded in 1967 as Schloss Stetten GmbH & Co. In January 2014, the Velisco slaughterhouse filed for bankruptcy. Since the search for an investor was unsuccessful, almost all employees were dismissed on April 28.

Value

We left a positive impression on our partners with our experience and variety of concepts. Together with the people in charge of the project we agreed upon auctioning the inventory via Progressu. For our partners this was the optimal balance between risk and opportunity.

New Life

Over the past few years we have been developing an international customer base which is continuously growing. We were able to give a new life to nearly all machines in a short period of time thanks to our international network.

So also in this project, our circular business model could ensure a continued sustainable use of machines in the food industry.
